REGISTRATION WAIVER


  1. The registration fee-waiver program is intended to facilitate the participation of scientifically and technically qualified research students (Indian) with financial hardships that may limit their ability to attend. The waiver can be considered for the conference registration (field trip not included). If you plan to apply for the Deccan-next registration fee-waiver, please register for the conference and do not pay registration fees. After registration, please send your request for fee-waiver to deccannext@gmail.com.

  2. The email for the fee waiver must include the following:

    • A letter indicating intent to apply for the conference
    • A letter of recommendation from the supervisor or head of the department

  3. The last date to send the registration fee-waiver request is 30th April 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the waiver by 15th May 2023 through email. Those not selected for the fee-waiver and wish to be a part of the conference must pay and complete their registration before the deadline.

  4. The Executive Committee will decide on the waivers, considering the merit, financial situation and interest of the students mentioned in the application. The number of fee waivers granted will depend on the availability of the funds and other relevant considerations.
